New blog...

Ok, so I have definately been slacking on my blogging... I am so gosh darn busy these days and quite frankly, sometimes I think, why would anyone want to know about that? So, despite my efforts in quitting the whole blogger-thing, I've started/starting a new blog. A better one... because I am moving on to better things... my marriage with Wayne. So my future posts my be pretty sporadical, but I'll give it my best shot. hahahahaha.

Don't log on for a few days so I can really get it going, but here's the link so save this one and toss this old one (as I probably won't be adding to it!)

and yes, kateandwayne was taken already :(

HILLS Premiere!

So, I used to LLLLLLLOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEEE watching The Hills, but I've missed all of last season and most of the one before that, so I've kind of fallen out of the loop with Lauren, Whitney, Audrina, Stephanie and Speidi. Tonight is the season premiere of the fifth season? I came across this photo of me and my always best friend, Ana (also my maid of honor!) at our Hills premiere party our sophomore or junior (?) year of college... that was a fun party! We (along with our guests) dressed up like our favorite Hills stars and had yummy desserts and virgin margaritas! Then we had a little karaoke party after... so ya, this photo is from years ago (notice our Chanel earrings!? we wore them like every day for a year! hehe).

Hollywood, South Coast, HB, Valentines and Engagements.

A lifetime friend of mine and Wayne (also his distant cousin), Doug visited us for the weekend with his super sweet and fun girlfriend (and soon-to-be fiance! its ok, she already knows!), Rosanna. We decided, since Rosanna had never been to California (Cincinnati-bred), that she needed to see LA and Hollywood more importantly!

Me and Rosanna...

Us at PINK'S! I'm STILL wondering why no one asked me for my pic to put on their wall of fame??? hehe.

Me and Rosanna just discussed how "Gentlemen DO Prefer Blondes"- look at our Hickens!

Wayne and Doug- idoling Chuck Norris. All of us were shocked to know HE has a star.

MY Favorite Star.

Rosanna- sorry we couldn't find Angelina Jolie's! Next time!

We also walked around the LA temple (where Wayne and I are headed in 4 months!), then drove through Rodeo Drive (so Rosanna could see how its done in LA), and then we were saddened to know Sprinkle's Cupcakes closes at 7pm!

On Valentine's DAY, we met up with Doug and Rosanna at the South Coast Plaza and went to Huntington for dinner.

Then, we heard from our good friend, Drew, that he ALSO is getting married this summer! He proposed that night! That makes 4 of us Jurupa kids getting married this summer!

The joys of property management...

There are few. For instance, when someone is so happy they found a cute house to rent and property managers that LET them move in even though they have bad credit due to a job loss and/or a foreclosure... that they tell you you're an angel or are so so so kind to you and will push your car through ice to prove how much they want to rent a home... those are the instances that make me happy to do such tedious back-and-forth work.
However, this morning, I got a call from one of our clients who has a COMPLETELY REMODELED 3 BD/2 BTH home in a (surprisingly) NICE area of San Bernardino that he (general contractor, of course) has had for rent since the remodeling process. Over this past weekend, some punk kid/s (assuming) took out all the flyers in the box and individually crumpled them and tossed them on the (wet) grass and threw a rock through a (brand new, double-paned) window, climbed through and walked through the house, unlocking all the doors, yet not taking anything or doing anymore damage. There are a lot of words that could describe such an act, mine: immature, awful, disrespectful and ghetto. Why do such people think they can do such things and put such added strains on people that don't deserve such dealings?!
(Sorry, I'm using this as my journal... thanks for reading!)
